A lot of people say they believe that Jesus is the Son God.
A lot of people say they are a Christian.
Not too many people say they are a Disciple of Christ.
To be a Disciple of Christ, it will cost you everything.
Most people think like the Rich Young Ruler, about what they would have to give up to follow Christ.
And most people, like the Rich Young Ruler, decide it cost to much to follow Christ.
So, they just act like they follow Christ. You are only fooling yourself.
Most people who say that they believe Jesus is the Son of God and confess they are a Christian, do not want to give up anything to follow Christ.
If you have not forsaken all, then you are not following Christ. You are deceived.
Don’t you know, that to be a Christian, a Disciple of Christ, it is going to cost you your very life.
If you are not willing, ready and able to lay down your life and everything that it entails, then you are not following Christ. You are living a fantasy; a lie; in other words, hypocrisy.
Many of you say, you are Born Again, but if you truly understand what that mean, you would not be living the way that you live.
Many of you want to hold on to your old life.
You can not love the LORD and love the world at the same time. Choose ye this day, whom you will serve.
This what many of you will hear when you stand before the LORD, unless you REPENT Right Now.
To follow Christ, you must forsake everything in this life. You must be dead to this world and the lust thereof.
Many of you are in love with this world and the things of this world. You love money. You are materialistic. You are vain, arrogant, and prideful. You are lovers of pleasures more than lovers of GOD.
You need to REPENT right now and beg the LORD Jesus to forgive you of your sins.
You cannot hold on to the LORD with one hand and hang on to the world with the other.
