Spread the love

Luke 16:13

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Exodus 20:3

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

We must literally put GOD the Father first.  The LORD will not accept second place.  Either He’s first priority or He’s last.  There is nothing in between

Deuteronomy 10:12

And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Matthew 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

That means, there is nothing in this life time that is more important than the Kingdom of God.

Luke 14:33

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Luke 14:26

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

There is a cost to follow Christ.  It will cost you everything, even your own life to follow Christ.  Actually, when you give your life to Christ, it’s not your life anymore.

The very breath of life that we breath comes from GOD the Father.  It’s His breath of life.  Without the breath of life, there is no life.

So we owe the LORD Jesus everything.  Nothing belong to us anymore.  Everything in this life is temporary anyway.

Once you leave this body, it’s time to stand and face the music.  The scriptures, everyman will have to give account for the deeds done in this body, whether good or bad.

Revelation 22:12

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Romans 14:12

So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

2 Corinthians 5:10

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

So, either you will trust in the LORD to provide for you or you will trust in your money.

The question is, who gave you the breath of life to earn the money?
