The Character And Nature Of The GOD Of Israel

Consider the character and nature of the GOD of Israel, if you will.  The scripture says, GOD loved Jacob and hated Esau. (Ref: Romans 9:13) Most people in the world will tell you that God loves everybody.  Well, unless you take this scripture out of context, we can clearly see that God does not love everybody.

The Apostle Paul, actually explained the character and nature of the GOD of Israel in one of the Epistles – Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?  So, he said, God created vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor.  God is the potter and we are the clay.

Since He is GOD, how can the clay say to the potter, why did you make me like this?

The scriptures says that the LORD has chosen a certain people to be His people, who are Hebrew Israelites, of the Seed of Abraham and that will never change.  Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

This is why Jesus, the Messiah and Savior of Israel came into the world to redeem God’s chosen people, who are the Twelve Tribes of Israel, from their sins and this is why Jesus is coming back, and who He is coming back for, to gather us, God’s chosen people,  from all the places where we are scattered, to bring us back to the Land that He promised to Abraham and his descendants.  And if we believe, we will reign with Christ a thousand years in the Kingdom of Heaven.

The scriptures explains the character and nature of the GOD of Israel.  The scriptures also explains how the GOD of Israel deals with his chosen people, who are Hebrew Israelites of the Seed of Abraham.

GOD the Father chasten us as a people because he loves us.  All that has happened to us, as His chosen people, is in accordance to scripture and prophecy.

But, according to scripture, there will be retribution for the way the world has treated us, who are the chosen people of the God of Israel. Jeremiah 30:16 Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.

The LORD dealt with Pharaoh for how he dealt with the chosen people of the God of Israel.  The LORD also dealt with us, his chosen people for the way we acted when He brought us out of the land of Egypt the first time.  This is why we wondered in the wilderness for forty years, because of our unbelief.

The LORD is still dealing with us, His chosen people as dear children.  But as a people, we are stiff necked and unbelieving.  This is why only a remnant of Israel will be saved.  A lot of us did not make it into the Promised Land from the wilderness because of our unbelief, and a lot of us will not make it into the Kingdom of Heaven either, because of unbelief.

The LORD ain’t playing with us.  He is the same way He’s always been.  He doesn’t change.  He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Get right or get left out of the Kingdom of Heaven.  The Kingdom of Heaven is for us, His chosen people, but if we don’t walk in faith of the scriptures of who He is, through the LORD Jesus, the Holy One of Israel, we will not make it into the Kingdom of Heaven.
